Dumaguete - pier

Dumaguete – pier

Sunday 7th to Sunday 28th February, 2010 : A bulletin from your foreign correspondent to let you know we’re having a cracking time here in the Philippines.

Last week we were in Sangat where there were deposited some absolutely stunning WW2 Japanese wrecks – a mini Truk Lagoon. Some excellent penetration was had by all. Add it to your list of must do’s. We’ll be coming back in a few years so you can join us then.

Have now moved on to Dumaguete where we are having to think small, I mean macro small, where we are seeing the weird and the wonderful (no I don’t mean Simon & Jo). Seen loads of little critters I ain’t never seen before.

You’ll be pleased to hear my 3rd dive today was my 1,000th logged dive with Aerodivers!!! The beers and brandys will flow tonight for sure!

Only 13 more dives to go and it will all be over 🙁 Unless we top up our package and squeeze in a few more that is 😉

It’s tough – but someone has to do it.

See you (all too) soon from Tim & the Philippines Expedition Team.
