The weather for the weekend is looking pretty good so it must be time for the first dive of the new year!

The proposal is to do a shore dive at Hallsands, a site much visited by the club in the past but neglected these last few years.

The advantages of this site over many others are

• It’s easy to get to
• It’s easy (& free) parking
• It’s easy to get in/out
• It’s slightly deeper (up to 15m) so not as affected by the mid morning low water
• The winds are looking good (Beaufort 1-2 max generally westerly)
• Sunshine is forecast
• It’ll be a balmy 9 degrees
