13th February, 2008 : Due to popular request I propose organising a day trip to Portsmouth for club members, family and friends. I would like a rough idea of numbers so I can start getting quotes for a coach.
The attractions include HMS Victory, Mary Rose. HMS Warrior, Royal Naval Museum, and harbour boat trip. The inclusive price for all of these is £12 adults, £10 60+ (you’ll have to come clean if you want a discount!) and £10 children 5 – 15 years. If you add a trip up the Spinnaker tower the price rises to £15 adults and £12.60 60+. See www.historicdockyard.co.uk.
