Lundy, 19th May 2012

19th – 20th May, 2012 : We had an excellent weekend diving around Lundy, having been taken there on the Pride of Bristol.

Weather was excellent, food was excellent, crew were exceedingly helpful and friendly; visits to engine room, visits to the bridge.

To cap it all, the webmasters’ strobes were working properly inspite of what it says in the instructions, and the wrecks were full of very small but brightly coloured slugs.

Sites dived: Jenny’s Cove, MV Robert, Gannet Bay and Battery Point.

A pink toed starfish, or a starfish with pink toes? A Spiny starfish, Marthasterias glacialis.

Slug or nudibranch, about 6mm long so not too easy to see. Probably Coryphella browni.

Another 6mm nudibranch, Flabellina pedata, the Violet sea slug.

A European cowrie (Trivia monacha), about 6mm long, I didn't find this until looking through the pictures after the dive
