Diving: Isle of Man

Since our successful trip in 2022 I have been asked if we were going to go again in the not too distant future.

com - Most of the dive sites we will be diving are in the 18m to 22m depth range.
I had a look on their availability page & found that 2024 is booking up quickly, but found that the week from Friday 28th June to Friday 5th July was available, so I’ve contacted Mike Keggan, (the skipper), & asked him to pencil us in for that week, which he has confirmed he has done.
From this we have 2 options:-
- 7 nights accommodation (including breakfast), 12 dive package which this year was £570pp.
- 5 nights accommodation (including breakfast), 8 dive package which this year was £390pp.
Ferry costs would come on top of this, which this year was around £250 for a car + 2 people.
Prices & schedules for the ferry have not been released for 2024, (due in January I think).
Personally, I would favour the 5 night/8 dive package, (Sunday/Monday to Friday), which we have done on our previous visits which seemed to be about right, but I am open to change that decision if that’s what the majority want.
I am happy to coordinate the diving & accommodation with Mike, but will leave with individuals going to liaise with each other to sort out transport/ferry bookings etc once we know the trip is definitely on.
For this trip to happen we need a minimum of 8 divers, (the boat can accommodate 10).
There is the possibility of none diving partners to come along as well as the house sleeps 11, subject to sleeping arrangements:- 1 double, 3 twin & 1 triple. Costs for non-diving partners this year was £30pppn
At this stage I am asking for interest. I would appreciate responses in the next couple of weeks.
If we get enough interest, I will need a £50 deposit per diver to confirm the booking & the balance for the accommodation/diving a couple of weeks before we travel so I can make the final payments to Mike.
