2 years ago a group of us travelled to Madeira & had a great time with a split sightseeing/diving holiday – see the full report here

Well we’re going back!

Admittedly its not the Azores or the Red Sea but then again its warm & not terribly expensive (important in these difficult times).

The plan is to do a half-and-half weeks trip: 3 days diving & 3 days sightseeing and so it is an ideal trip not only for singles but also for those with significant others who are perhaps not so bitten with the diving bug!

We’ll be staying at the Pestana Carlton hotel https://www.pestana.com/uk/hotel/pestana-carlton-madeira and diving with Madeira DivePoint (https://madeiradivepoint.com) who are conveniently located within the hotel complex.
