Having now got the taste for the outdoors with the very pleasant May walk in the countryside, we will be out and about again with a Murder Mystery themed walking Treasure Trail around Bristol’s Old City. It’s an ideal opportunity for discovering more about the city where we live.

We will do so groups of 4 to 5 and the 1.5 mile long circular loop trail should take us about 2 hours to complete. If you get absolutely stuck on a clue there are a few opportunities to use your mobile to text and be texted back the answer. So nothing too arduous and what’s more, there’s a chance to win some real treasure as all correct answers are entered into a monthly £100 prize draw! Once we have completed the trail we will retire to the Bank Tavern, 8 John St, Bristol BS1 2HR to celebrate our success and compare notes.

Feel free to invite friends and family along but in order for us to pre-purchase the appropriate number of trail guide booklets we will need to know precise numbers; so please RSVP to this email (or via FaceBook if you prefer) with the names of all in your party.

If you would like to do the trail with a specific group of friends, then please let us know names and all agree amongst yourselves a time to meet up. If you don’t mind who you do it with then groups will be formed as and when people turn up.

There will be a small fee of £2.50 each to cover the cost of the booklets and to hopefully raise a small surplus towards club funds.

The individual group setting off times will be staggered.
