Wit the holiday season in full swing a formal social event is unlikely to attract sufficient numbers and therefore to continue the aquatic spirit for those who are free, Tim suggested an evening swim at Clevedon Marine Lake. It does look like the weather starts to pick up again from Wednesday, so if you are interested in a swim, or just a small get together in a scenic location, please let me know.
The lake is free. It’s the world’s largest infinity pool and it’s amazing!! It’s currently 20+°C so no wetsuit required but feel free to wear one if you prefer. There are no changing rooms so bring a big towel. Access is easy via a set of steps. It’s adjacent to the Salthouse pub which is a lovely place to get food and drink.
